Return & Refund Policy

At GV CLOTHING, we want you to shop with confidence. If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, we're here to help.

This policy works alongside your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), which cannot be excluded or limited.


1. Change of Mind Returns

We accept change of mind returns provided that:

  • The return request is made within 14 days of receiving your order.

  • The item is unworn, unwashed, and unused.

  • All original tags are attached.

  • The item is in its original packaging and in resalable condition.

  • Proof of purchase is provided.

GV CLOTHING reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.


2. Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned unless they are faulty or required by law:

  • Sale or clearance items (unless faulty)

  • Gift cards

  • Earrings and personal accessories

  • Items marked as "Final Sale"

  • Clothing that has been worn, washed, altered, stained, or damaged after delivery


3. Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is:

  • Damaged

  • Faulty

  • Defective

  • Incorrect

please contact us within 7 days of delivery at [EMAIL ADDRESS].

Please include:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • Clear photographs of the product

Once approved, we will offer an appropriate remedy in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law, including:

  • Replacement

  • Exchange

  • Repair (where appropriate)

  • Full refund


4. Exchanges

We are happy to exchange items for a different size or colour (subject to availability).

Exchange requests must be made within 14 days of receiving your order and the item must meet the return eligibility requirements.

If the requested item is unavailable, we may offer a store credit or refund where applicable.


5. Return Process

To start a return:

  2. Include your order number and reason for the return.

  3. Wait for return instructions.

  4. Securely package your item and send it to the return address provided.

Returns sent without prior approval may experience processing delays.


6. Refund Process

Once your returned item has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.

If approved:

  • Refunds will be processed to your original payment method.

  • Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.

Original shipping charges are generally non-refundable unless required under the Australian Consumer Law.


7. Return Shipping Costs

For change of mind returns:

  • Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping.

If the return is due to:

  • A faulty product

  • A damaged item

  • An incorrect item sent by GV CLOTHING

we will cover the reasonable return shipping costs or provide a prepaid return label where applicable.


8. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
